The 2-day Short Inca Trail to Machu Picchu is an ideal alternative for those with little time but who don’t want to miss out on this unique experience on the Inca paths. This hike offers beautiful landscapes surrounded by imposing mountains, waterfalls, and tropical jungle with a great variety of flora and fauna. You will also be able to visit impressive Inca complexes like Chachabamba and Winaywayna, and then the Sun Gate where you can admire the wonder of the world, Machu Picchu, as only those who do the Inca Trail 4-day or 2-day short Inca Trail can appreciate this spectacular view from the Sun Gate, just as the Incas did in the past.

This 2-day Inca Trail to Machu Picchu covers 12 kilometers or 7 miles over the valleys and mountains of the Peruvian Andes and usually takes between 6 to 7 hours of hiking to reach the site of Machu Picchu.
